The Atlas R.P.M. Meter monitors rotary table revolutions per minute. They consists of a milliamp indicating meter, a self-energizing tachometer generator with mounting base, pulley, and either standard or shielded electrical cable for transmitting the signal.

The Tachometer generator can be connected into any shaft turning in direct ratio to the rotary table. The meter is mounted in the same cabinet as your Atlas Weight Indicator or in the driller's console. In hazardous areas, use the type E tachometer generator, and for general purpose areas, use the type AB tachometer generator.

The Atlas S.P.M. Meter monitors mud pump strokes per minute. It employs the same tachometer generators and electrical cable as described for the R.P.M meter.
